We stand by our trailers and to show our confidence, we offer an industry-leading warranty. Below are some frequently asked questions about our warranty coverage.

  • Twister Trailer provides:

    • 6-Year Structural Warranty (Recreational Use)

    • 2-Year Body & Hardware Warranty (Recreational Use)

    • 1-Year Sealant & Caulking Warranty

    • 1-Year Structural and Body/Hardware Warranty for commercial-use trailer

  • The structural warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for major frame components, including:

    • Bottom rails

    • Floor cross members

    • Side posts

    • Side and roof rail extrusions

    • Hitch assembly

    • Subframe components

    Coverage applies for six years on recreational trailers when used within their intended capacity.

  • The Body & Hardware Warranty covers manufacturer-built components such as:

    • Doors

    • Hinges

    • Gates

    • Dividers

    • Attachments

    • Manufacturer-installed options

    Coverage lasts two years for recreational use and one year for commercial use.

  • Yes. Roof sealants and caulking are covered for defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original purchase date. After one year, sealants and caulking become routine maintenance items.

  • To activate your warranty, complete and return the Warranty Registration Form within 30 days of purchase. Failure to submit the registration within the required timeframe may reduce or eliminate warranty coverage.

  • Yes. Operating the trailer beyond its Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or intended capacity can void warranty coverage.

  • Yes. Components manufactured by third parties are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties. Examples include:

    • Axles

    • Tires and wheels

    • Air conditioners

    • Generators

    • Living quarter packages

    • Batteries

    • Hydraulic and electric slide-outs

    • Electric jacks

    Please refer to the individual manufacturer’s warranty documentation for details.

  • The warranty does not cover:

    • Normal wear-and-tear items

    • Bearings, brakes, brake linings, tires, seals, and hoses

    • Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, chips, or tears

    • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect

    • Damage caused by overloading

    • Environmental damage, weathering, or acts of God

    • Improper maintenance or cleaning practices

    • Damage to trailer contents

  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or installation of accessories may void the warranty. Warranty repairs should be performed only by Twister Trailer, an authorized dealer, or a manufacturer-approved service facility.

    • Contact your selling dealer within 30 days of discovering the issue.

    • Allow the dealer to inspect the trailer.

    • If necessary, a warranty claim will be submitted to Twister Trailer for review.

    • Follow all warranty claim procedures and obtain written authorization before repairs are performed.

  • No. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the trailer.
